Research On The Application Of Persuasion Education Method In Interrogation

Persuasion education method is one of the main methods in criminal interrogation.It plays an important role in changing the attitude of criminal suspects and obtaining confessions.However,the effect of persuasion education in current criminal interrogation practice is not ideal.This article follows the idea of combining theoretical analysis and practical investigation.Firstly,it briefly sorts out the basic theory of persuasion education,and then analyzes the application of persuasion education method in criminal interrogation,especially the shortcomings of this method in practice.Finally,on the basis of the aforementioned research,starting from the problem orientation,proposes corresponding improvement countermeasures.This paper is composed of five parts: introduction,basic theory,status quo investigation,existing problems and improvement measures.The first part is the introduction.Mainly expounds the research purpose and significance of this paper,and combs the related theoretical research on persuasion education by domestic and foreign scholars,and introduces the three main research methods of this article,namely the literature research method,the interview method and the questionnaire survey method.The second part is the basic theory of persuasion education method.Including the definition of core concepts of persuasion education,psychological principles and value attributes.Based on the distinction between persuasion and persuasion education and other related concepts,starting from Hovland's theory of persuasion,cognitive balance and cognitive dissonance,it analyzes the application of psychological principles in persuasion education method.Finally,it summarizes the unique value of persuasion education in safeguarding human rights,preventing the retraction of confessions,and saving investigation costs.The third part is the investigation of application status of persuasion education method in interrogation.The survey method adopts interview method and questionnaire survey method.Firstly,designs an interview outline based on the psychological principles of persuasion education,then uses the qualitative analysis software(Nvivo)to extract and code the key words of the interview transcripts to provide reference for the design and modification of the questionnaire.Finally,analyzes the results of interviews and questionnaires,and summarizes the application effects and deficiencies of persuasion education method.The fourth part are the main problems in the application of current persuasion education method.Combined with the survey results,makes a more comprehensive summary of the main problems existing in the current persuasion education method,such as investigators don't fully understand persuasion education method;persuasion education method lacks systematic theoretical guidance;the pre-preparation for persuasion education is insufficient;the persuasion education method is single and lacks pertinence;investigators lack patience and insufficient listening in the process of persuasion education;the atmosphere of persuasion education is too serious.Starting from the problem orientation,the fifth part proposes corresponding improvement measures.The first is to strengthen training and improve the knowledge structure of investigators;the second is to build an criminal interrogation persuasion education model/process;the third is to make preparations beforehand;the fourth is to strengthen the combined use with other interrogation methods;the fifth is to enhance the pertinence of persuasion education;the sixth is to focus on the situational factors of persuasion education,and improve supporting measures,so as to provide some reference ideas for investigators in applying persuasion education in the future.
