Research On Legislation Of Genetically Modified Crop Safety

With the rapid development of biological science and technology,the term "genetically modified" has increasingly attracted worldwide attention.The term GM has a huge controversy around the world.At present,scholars at home and abroad do not have a clear concept of whether it is safe.GM crops,as an important part of the development of the GM field,have gradually entered our vision.In view of the safety of genetically modified crops,China has formulated some relevant legal systems,but it has not formulated specific legal regulations on the safety of genetically modified crops,which has made China's legislation on the safety of genetically modified crops at a vacant stage.Regulations have become the top priority in the development of genetically modified crops in China.The thesis mainly discusses some issues in the field of genetically modified crops safety legislation at the meso and micro level,and explores the issues of genetically modified crops safety legislation,hoping to provide some reference for solving the existing problems of genetically modified crops safety.The thesis mainly revolves around the research on the safety legislation of genetically modified crops.It mainly adopts five research methods: literature research method,empirical analysis method,comparative research method,historical research method,and case analysis method.Based on the concept and status quo of other countries,the main problems in the field of legislation of genetically modified crops safety in China are as follows: lack of clear legal regulations on the position,non-standard content of the labeling system of genetically modified crops,lack of safety evaluation system for genetically modified crops,lack of remedy measures.After discussion and conclusion,the reasons for the problems are: the impact of social security cognition,the lag and limitation of the law,and economic reasons.It analyzes and summarizes the application status of genetically modified crops in the United States,the European Union,and Japan,as well as some existing relevant legal systems and their reference to my country.Finally,combined with the status quo of China's genetically modified crops safety legislation and China's national conditions,China's genetically modified crops safety legislation issues from four aspects: the formulation of genetically modified crops safety legislation,the improvement of genetically modified crops labeling system,the improvement of genetically modified crops safety evaluation system,and the improvement of ex post remedy punishment Put forward countermeasures and suggestions to provide a reference for the safety of genetically modified crops in China,extract the safety of genetically modified crops from the past vague legislative system,standardize and formulate safetylegislation for genetically modified crops,fill the gaps in the legislation of genetically modified crops,and promote the rapid development of China's agricultural economy.
