The aging of the population in today's society is one of the unavoidable practical problems.The deepening of aging in China has also promoted the vigorous development of old-age related industries.Institutional care,as one of the major pension models,has a considerable demand groups.However,insufficient attention to the mental health of the elderly is a common problem in nursing facility.Based on this problem,this thesis uses the cloud platform as a carrier and combines the information of the elderly in the personal files,daily activities and physiological indicators to design and implement a system that can monitor the negative emotions of the elderly.This system focus on the mental status of the elderly in the nursing facility and helps the nursing facility to serve the elderly.With analyzing the requirements of the system,this thesis proposes an overall system design scheme based on the B/S and C/S architecture-based software,analyzes and solves the key problems during system design and implementation.Discussing negative emotion recognition algorithm and applying it to emotion recognition module.The main work of this thesis is as follows:1.This thesis expounds the research status of emotion recognition technology both at home and abroad in recent years,introduces the development of the intelligent pension industry and analyzes the actual needs of nurse and the elderly in the nursing facility.According to needs,this thesis formulates overall system designed,proposes and solves the key issues that encountered during development.2.This thesis discusses negative emotion recognition algorithms base on BP neural network,support vector machine and random forest.Using processed data to train and test those algorithms,comparing the performance of each algorithm on accuracy,precision,recall and F1-Score.3.The software system is designed and implementationed in detail.This system consists of three parts: cloud server,the elderly client and the nurse client.The cloud server is responsible for processing data and storing models.The elderly client provides mental health related services for the elderly in nursing facility.The nurse client provides help for nurse in nursing work.Finally,a simulation development platform is build to test the system.This thesis formulates the testing plans,testing processes and testing goals for the completed system,conducts functional and non-functional tests both on mobile clients and cloud server.While verifying the system's functionality,it also tests the system's load capacity,useability and stability.The test result shows that the system satisfies the desired functional requirements and non-functional requirements.
