| With the continuous development of society, our country has already become the aged society.At the same time, in the early twenty-first Century,due to the change of family structure, family production function, the change concepts of providing for the aged, especially the reduction in the number of children, More and more family mode of “421", a couple need to take care of four old people and children has become more and more popular,therefore, more and more people began to worry about their pension problem.The development of nursing homes and the physical and mental health of the old men who live in the nursing homes will draw increasingly more attention.How to improve the current status of nursing homes, enable it to obtain a better development, at the same time, to promote the healthy development of body and mind of the aged, is one of the most important topics on research in nursing homes and the elders.According to relevant data, at present,in Taiyuan City, there is about 530000 old people above 60 years old, accounting for 14.9% of the total population, and with a 3% annual rate rapid growth.By CNKI and other related data search, there is no research related to nursing homes in Taiyuan City, the status quo of nursing homes in Taiyuan city is not known yet.To make nursing home in Taiyuan city be improved, to promote the physical and mental health of the old people in nursing homes, it is necessary to study it.The paper is based on interviews, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, field survey method and other research methods, use sports science, health science, sociology as the theoretical guidance, to study in Taiyuan City nursing home basic facilities, medical facilities, sports facilities, the basic situation of the elderly, occupancy basic status, physical fitness, and the satisfaction for nursing homes. Hope that via this study, we can explore the main factors of the developing process and its influence on the development of the basic national conditions for nursing homes in Taiyuan City, combined with the study of literature and our country, center on the elderly health, put forward the development of Taiyuan City nursing home’s proposals, expected to provide decision-making reference for the relevant departments, to promote the development of Taiyuan City nursing home pension business, prompting the establishment of a more healthy and scientific way of life, to have a healthy and happy spare life.The result of the research is as below :In Taiyuan City, there is 48 nursing homes, I investigated 30 of them, in this 30,18 of them is public, 12 of them is private. In the 30 nursing homes there is only 4 accept for self-care old man, half and full caring elderly self-care elders, accounting for 13.3% of the total, the rest were only receive self-care elders.In Taiyuan City, there are 10664 beds in all nursing homes, in the surveyed 30 homes there are 3870 beds, the occupancy rate was 50.5% over all. In Taiyuan City, the total number of nursing home care workers is 497, the survey of 30 nursing home there is old men 1957, therefore, the number of workers and occupancy ratio is 1:3.9. In Taiyuan City, the hiring of workers in nursing home required certificates is very little, accounting for only 23.3% of the number of survey.In the 30 nursing homes surveyed, 100% of the nursing homes are equipped with indoor basic facilities, the configuration of the facility to heating and calling device mainly; installation bathroom armrest and the corridor armrest homes respectively accounted for 80% and 53.3%, in addition, installation of other basic safety facilities of the nursing home is less than 30%.In Taiyuan city, the number of nursing homes providing sports project single, participate in walking, jogging and exercises activities accounted for 83.5%, 78.8% and 21.1%, to participate in other sports activities are fewer in number and the enthusiasm is not high, there are still 16.7% of the nursing homes are not provided with any entertainment venues, chess and card room is provided with 70% nursing home, 33.3% nursing homes with Book Studio, in addition, other activities place nursing home in addition to the fitness room beyond 20%; in nursing homes are still in the condition of lacking of medical facilities.In the 30 nursing homes surveyed, 43% of the nursing homes equipped with the general fitness, 23.3% nursing homes with Tai Chi class of instruments, there are still 13.3% of the nursing homes is not configured for any sports facilities. In the surveyed at the old people, the old people is not good at 45.5% in participating in sports activities, the satisfaction of old people on the basic facilities and daily care were 89% and 91%, other service satisfaction is below 50%.Below is the suggestions: perfect related laws, and actively cultivate nursing workers, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the elders; strengthen the construction of medical personnel team of nursing homes, regularly organize the old people for routine physical examination, and medical personnel should be timely communication with the elders, the physical and mental health status at any time to master the elders; physical exercise to strengthen the propaganda, training enthusiasm of the elderly to participate in physical exercise, to guide the elderly people to do some scientific and reasonable physical exercise, and a good habit of life; vigorously develop cultural and recreational activities, pay attention to mental health, to strengthen the psychological care of the elderly in nursing homes; should also regularly invited to stay the sons and daughters of the elderly to participate in family interaction activities, at the same time nursing homes should interact with other homes for the aged or young volunteer organizations, set up a communication platform for the elders, to old people’s physical and mental health. |
