The Existing Problems And Countermeasures Research Of Wuhai City's Social Assistance

Social assistance is one of the important contents of social security.It is the policy of protecting the needy masses.It is related to the safety,warmth and basic survival of the needy masses.Over the years,China's social assistance has formed a relatively reasonable institutional framework,which is based on "housing assistance","minimum living security","support for the extremely poor","medical assistance","educational assistance","disaster relief" and "temporary assistance".As the last "barrier" and the "line of defense" in the field of people's livelihood security and social security,the social assistance system has played an important role in relieving the national survival crisis,ensuring the smooth progress of the reform of the socialist market economy system and promoting social harmony and development.By the end of 2018,all the poor households in Wuhai City had been lifted out of poverty.With reference to China's Interim Measures on Social Assistance,the social assistance system in Wuhai City has established a basic social assistance system in the areas of living assistance,special assistance and temporary assistance.At present and in the coming period,the social assistance system in Wuhai City cannot only help the poor,but also play a corresponding role in the social security of Wuhai City and the stability of the peoples lives.With the development of social economy and the establishment of a well-off society in an all-round way,some problems have been encountered in the current social assistance system itself and in its operation.This paper adopts three methods: literature research method,social investigation method and personal interview method,combined with the actual situation of Wuhai city,combs the present situation of Wuhai city social assistance system and the problems found,not only analyzes the causes of the problems,but also provides some suggestions and suggestions for further reform and innovation of Wuhai city,Inner Mongolia city,autonomous regions social assistance system.
