Bilateral political relations,as one of the important factors for strengthening communication and understanding between countries, are also an important prerequisite for maintaining good economic and trade relations between countries and ensuring long-term economic stability and development. In the past 5 years,China has actively advocated the international cooperation mechanism such as "The belt and road" initiative and The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank,so as to provide more opportunities for promoting the interconnection and common development of Asian and European countries. With the second largest economy in the world and research on frontier technologies in the field of science and military affairs,China's international influence has been greatly enhanced.China's political influence has also made great strides towards the world center. In the meantime, the political relations between China and the world's major economic powers are not smooth sailing.Although China has always pursued a foreign policy of peaceful coexistence, disputes and frictions are inevitable, such as the disputes over the Diaoyu Islands in Senkaku Island between China and Japan, and the disputes over the South China Sea between China and the Philippines. In 2008,the financial crisis shifted from the financial level to the economic level. The downward pressure of the world economy deepened.Under the double influence of instability of internal growth and uncertainty of external demand, the rise of the real economy still needs time.In the short run,it is still necessary to grasp the export to promote the steady growth of China's economy. In this context, from the perspective of export frequency,a new export margin, this paper incorporates the institutional factors of bilateral relations for politics into analytical framework.Based on the research results of scholars, this paper theoretically analyses the influence of bilateral relations for politics on export frequency of enterprises from three levels: state, consumer and enterprise. In the empirical part, the paper chooses the main variables and and the control variables of enterprises, products and countries,to comprehensively analyze the impact of bilateral relations for politics on the export frequency of enterprises, and to test the robustness of the model. On the basis of the regression results, this paper analyses the differences of product types, different ownership of enterprises and different geographical perspectives to accurately understand the effect of bilateral relations forpolitics on the export frequency of enterprises. The results show that:(1)Through empirical test and robustness test, the deterioration of bilateral relations for politics significantly inhibits the export frequency of Chinese enterprises.(2)The deterioration of bilateral relations for politics inhibits the export frequencies of Chinese enterprises in different product types, regions and ownership systems. The effect of bilateral relations for politics on the export frequencies of consumer goods is significantly greater than that of intermediate goods and capital goods, and the effect on the export frequencies of capital goods is greater than that of intermediate goods. The export frequency of enterprises in the western region is higher than that in the eastern region, and the influence of bilateral relations for politics on the export frequency of different enterprises is positive and significant, but the regression coefficient of state-owned enterprises is significantly higher than that of private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises, while the impact on foreign-funded enterprises is the smallest.
