The Effect Of Bilateral Political Relations On China's Services Trade

With the advancement of economic globalization,the proportion of China's service trade export in the total trade volume keeps rising and its importance becomes increasingly prominent.However,with the increasingly close political exchanges between countries(regions),bilateral political relations have gradually become an important factor affecting bilateral trade.Trade as a way of economic ties between countries,more and more close relations with political,whether it is a trade reciprocal or sanctions,there will be more or less political factors,friendly diplomatic and political relations,means more open markets at home and abroad,on the contrary,bilateral political relations soured,tends to increase trade sanctions.Existing research mainly in developed countries as samples,most of the impacts of political relationship on trade remain at the level of goods trade,and there is a lack of research on the field of service trade.The article combines existing research and deficiencies,selects indicators for bilateral political relations more scientifically,and conducts in-depth analysis of the impact on service trade.From the perspective of innovation,this paper studies the impact of bilateral political relations on service trade based on the theoretical analysis of the mechanism of bilateral political relations on service trade.Taking China as an example,this paper studies the impact of bilateral political relations on service trade by analyzing the data of bilateral political relations and service trade between China and 44 countries from 2002 to 2015.In this paper to solve the main problem is how to rational knowledge of bilateral political relations influence on China's service trade,taking the degree of bilateral partnership,foreign exchange of visits between data,whether UN vote,whether to sign the RTA and consistency with indicators for WTO members to build bilateral political relations,and panel regression for further analysis,such as the relationship between the different forms of political influence,the difference of the system of political relations play a role of time lag and trading nation quality of political relationship trade creation effect.The research of this paper can not only better understand the situation and situation of China's foreign trade,provide new theoretical support and practical enlightenment for the formulation of China's political policies and trade orientation,but also provide basis for the sound development of political relations between countries and further promote the development of trade.The main contents of this article include: 1.The theoretical analysis of the influence of political relations on international trade.Combining relevant theories of international political economy and combining politics and economics organically,this paper analyzes the relationship between political relations and trade,as well as the mechanism and reasons why political relations affect trade,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for further empirical analysis.2.The state of China's foreign trade and political relations with major countries.This chapter analyses the characteristics of China's export trade present situation and existing main problems,combined with China since the founding of the foreign political policy development and international political relations,as well as political and economic relations between the major powers in the world,summed up China's foreign trade in services and overall development present situation and the characteristics of political relations,provide the reality basis for the following empirical analysis.3.The empirical test.Based on the present situation of China's service trade export and the overall situation of political relations,the theoretical hypothesis to be tested is put forward.The data of bilateral political relations between China and 44 countries from 2002 to 2016 and the data of service trade were used for panel regression based on the extended form of traditional gravity model.The empirical analysis aims to solve the following three major problems: the overall impact of political relations on China's service trade export;Whether there are differences in the effects of different forms of political activities and whether the effects of political relations on trade in services are sustained in time.Finally,robustness test is carried out to further verify the results.4.The summary and policy Suggestions.Draw the main research conclusions of this paper,summarize the practical significance and corresponding policy recommendations.
