With the in-depth implementation of the "Belt and Road" initiative, while injecting new vitality into bilateral political relations,it has also increased China’s export trade to countries along the route. How to strengthen the bilateral political relations between China and the countries along the Belt and Road under the role of the "Belt and Road" initiative, and to take into account the product demand and product structure of different countries, and give play to the comparative advantages of China ’s exports is a practical problem facing China ’s export trade.Under such a background, research on the impact of bilateral political relations on China’s export comparative advantage has been carried out,and China’s export comparative advantage has been exerted. It has a good theory for the maintenance of bilateral political relations and the upgrading of trade structure in the context of the "Belt and Road" And realistic meaning. This paper uses literature research method, statistical analysis method and empirical research method to start with theoretical analysis and literature review. It sorts out the theory and research status of bilateral political relations affecting export comparative advantage, and summarizes the conclusions and gaps of existing research. This paper studies the bilateral political relations and export status of China and the countries along the "Belt and Road",including the outline of the countries along the route, trade scale characteristics, trade structure characteristics, etc.,and builds a trade gravity model based on this. The bilateral political relations are selected as the main explanatory variables In order to characterize the comparative advantage of exports, the five major commodities exports and market share of China’s exports to the countries along the route are selected as the explanatory variables.Using the fixed-effect regression method, the three influencing factors of bilateral relations, the export value, and market share are used.Based on the data of relevant indicators from 2013 to 2017,an empirical study was conducted on the impact of bilateral political relations on China’s comparative advantage in exports.Based on empirical results,high-level mutual visits and partnerships can promote China’s comparative advantage in exports;the number of terrorist attacks in countries along the route will reduce China’s comparative advantage in exports.Among the three influencing factors, the promotion of partnership is the most obvious, followed by the positive effects of high-level mutual visits and the negative effects of the number of terrorist attacks. Therefore,China should increase the number of high-level exchange visits with countries along the route, deepen partnerships, and carefully consider the negative impact of exports from terrorist activities. As a result,China should establish good bilateral political relations with the countries along the "Belt and Road" in order to expand China’s comparative advantage in exports.Specifically,at the national level, establish friendly bilateral political relations, seize opportunities to develop trade;continue to strengthen macro planning, strategic deployment and top-level design;adhere to an independent foreign policy of peace;adhere to the five principles of peaceful coexistence. From the industrial level, optimize the structure of export commodities and actively use comparative advantages;predict and develop products with potential comparative advantages according to market laws;combine the development of local emerging industries with the comparative advantages of product exports for common development. At the corporate level, building a corporate overseas image;fulfilling local social responsibilities and establishing an international concept.
