Marx’s critical theory of fetishism is an important part of Marx’s historical materialism and political economy.From the perspectives of historical logic,social background and theoretical origin,this paper expounds the evolution process from Marx’s early alienation theory,the classical critical theory of fetishism in Das Kapital to the new form of contemporary fetishism--the Space Fetishism.Through combing and investigating the classic works,we find that under the enslavement of commodity,currency and capital,the influence of materialization on people’s subjective consciousness has penetrated into the daily life.In the context of urbanization and capitalization,the construction of urban civilization promotes the integration of natural space into the production of social space and becomes the intermediate link of capital appreciation.Space becomes a commodity with value and use value,and the production model of contemporary society turns from the production of things in space to the production of space itself.In the context of the development of economic globalization,the space fetishism adheres to the logic of the critical theory of traditional fetishism,and combines the severe problems of social space reality to turn the objects of criticism from the objective space to the social relations within the space.The study of the theory of spatial fetishism is helpful to reasonably construct the longitudinal pattern of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the guidance of marxism.In pursuit of material civilization while avoiding the risk of fetishism,to build a community with a Shared future for mankind for the purpose of the new global space order to contribute to the "China program."...
