Research On The Practice Of Social Work Institutions' Participating In Special Care Work Through Project

As an important part of civil affairs,the special care work is aiming to provide soldiers and their families with material and spiritual support,which is always been highly valued in China.With the development of social economy,the traditional model of special care work is difficult to meet the diversified needs of entitled groups.In order to meet their needs,all sectors of society put forward the idea of “socialization of special care work”,referring the work to social organizations for operation.Practice has proved that non-professional social work organizations can not get rid of the limitations of traditional mode and meet the diversified needs of entitled groups when implementing special care project.In the background of the widespread use of project in social services,this paper explores the effectiveness of social work organizations and participate in the project of special care.Through the presentation of the double support project in S town,this paper explores the process of social work organizations participating in the special care work in a project-oriented way,with the hope of giving full play to the professional advantages of social work organizations,dig out the real demands of entitled groups,realize the“balance between supply and demand”,and highlight the effect of special care projects with the greatest extent.First of all,we could understand the basic situation of the entitled groups through the method of interviews and questionnaires,and obtain the survey needs analysis in the light of the basic information.Then,according to the needs of entitled groups,we could design group activities,and use the method of group work to carry out service activities and projects.Through providing special care services of professional groups,social work institutions have basically achieved the aim of projects.The results of the project show that professional organizations could design and organize services by virtue of their professional advantages,and the needs of the objects of social care,respect,self-realization and other aspects are all met to a certain extent.Finally,it summarizes the deficiencies of professional social work organizations in participating in the process of special care work by the method of projection,and puts forward suggestions for improvement: First,improve the ability to create and expand the source of institutional funds.Second,attract and cultivate talents and strengthen the construction of talent team;Third,strengthen external communication contact and build an interactive platform for mutual assistance;Fourth,establish multiple evaluation mechanism and strengthen the service;Fifth,highlight the characteristics of special care work and form competitive advantage of the institutions.
