Constraint And Flexibility:A Study On The "Flexible Embedding" Of Social Work In The Administrative Field

As for the localization development of social work in China,one of the mainstream views in the academic circle is "embedding theory".But in practice,the embedded development of social work in the administrative field is not smooth sailing.Under the regulation and training of formal power and institutional system,the action of social work agencies is restricted by various levels and even produces the alienation of professionalism.These phenomena,to some extent,restore the reality of the diversity and complexity of the embedded development of professional social work,reveal the realistic difficulties faced by the development of social work under the discipline of power,and sound the alarm for the development of professional social work.This paper takes the H institution in NanChang city as the research object and a public welfare venture capital project carried out by the H institution as the starting point.This survey mainly use the participatory observation and depth interview method,based on the line,in the absorption on the basis of predecessors' research achievements for reference in combination with the author's own practice experience,to H agencies in the city,the streets,community power to discipline the way to the different fields,such as in-depth analysis and summary,and on the degree of discipline and the way of the power of the influence factors for reflection and discussion understand now embedded in the administrative field of social work during the period of the difficulties and challenges.Later "the discipline of social work institutions" — "flexible embedded" flexible strategies of specific means,the actual effect,the paper summarizes the main characteristics,revealing the social work organization in a tough game,how to keep their own professional autonomy,and expand their own discourse space,for the embedding development of other social work organizations to provide some reference results can be used for reference.Finally,the essence of "flexible embedding" is reflected from micro and macro dimensions,and the concept is improved theoretically."Flexible embedding" is an abstraction of the concept of interaction and game means between social work institutions and the government.Its generation and development run through the whole dynamic cooperation process between social work institutions and government departments,from which we can get a glimpse of the relationship and interaction mode between government departments and social work institutions.This study helps us to have a deep understanding of the problems encountered in the development of social work in China,the causes of the problems and the current situation under the influence of the problems.At the same time,this research topic can also provide certain reference and reference for the development and reform of social work institutions,and provide some theoretical thinking and intellectual reflection for the enrichment and development of "embeddedness theory" of social work.
