There are complicated and reciprocal cross-border connections between the diaspora Chinese and native place, which makes the transnational network of diaspora Chinese have interaction and mechanisms.Previous research shown that scholars have less awareness of Qiaokan, which is one of diaspora Chinese media published on the native place.Qiaokan sends the information from the native place to the diaspora Chinese, and also maintains the communication and interaction.Using as a case study, this paper seeks to explain how the transnational communication plays a role on transnational network between diaspora Chinese and native place.First,Xinning Magazine was mainly published in the early stage because of politics and clan, which made Qiaokan have a purpose to call on political appeals and clan loyalty.Second, diaspora Chinese participated in the social affairs through Xinning Magazine.Diaspora Chinese actively wrote papers to Xinning Magazine,in order to make native place understand their need.Lastly,Xinning Magazine is mainly published for diaspora Chinese,so it reported immigration policies of other countries to China. Therefore, diaspora Chinese would also send their experience abroad to Xinning Magazine.
