A Study On The Government Network Public Opinion Guidance In China From The Perspective Of Field Theory

In the era of "everyone is a microphone," the Internet,as an effective carrier for people to express their personal thoughts and interests,has become an important means of real-time communication between the government and the people.Therefore,the grasp and guidance of network public opinion is the inevitable requirements for government to accurate master the social situations.In this regard,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that,in this new situation,the government should strengthen the network governance,taking the work of network public opinion as the top priority of propaganda and ideological work,maintaining the network security and create a clear network environment.In recent years,the government's awareness and ability to guide public opinion on the Internet has been gradually enhanced,and meanwhile good progress has been achieved.However,with the rapid development of the information age and the special period of social transformation in our country,the government network public opinion guidance is still facing many challenges.The paper takes the government network public opinion guidance as the research object,based on multidisciplinary angle of view such as the communication science and the sociology to carry on the analysis,combining the sociology field theory,which was put forward by three representative scholars,Kurt Koffka,Kurt Lewin and Pierre Bourdieu,constructing a theoretical analysis framework of "the new media field","thepsychological field" and the "social field",and combine it with the subject of government network public opinion guidance,which aims to provide a meaningful and innovative feasible path to improve the government network public opinion guiding ability from the view of the field theory.Through the study of literature,the paper masters the current research situation of network public opinion guidance at home and abroad;The paper selects two typical cases of government network public opinion guidance in recent years,comparing the situation of network public opinion in case events from the perspective of field,and on this basis,making a comparative analysis of the practice and effect of government guidance.Then it comes to the dilemma of the government's network public opinion guidance,and under the framework of the field theory,it sums up the reasons behind the network public opinion guidance predicament,and finally obtains the optimization path of the government's public opinion guidance.The paper consists of four chapters.The first chapter introduces the research status at home and abroad,mastering the progress of the subject research;The field theory used in this paper is explained in detail,which aims to introduce the concordance between the theoretical basis and the research object,and then define the core concept of network public opinion guidance.The second chapter introduces two typical cases of government network public opinion guidance.Firstly,the paper gives a brief introduction to the case and explains the basis of the case selection;Secondly,the paper takes the field theory as the angle of view,and in accordance with the event from the outbreak,diffusion to the recovery of an evolution period,through the comparative analysis of the nature and social influence of case events,the communication structure and characteristics of network public opinion of case events,the emotion and content of network public opinion of case events,the paper grasp the overall situation of public opinion of case events;Thirdly,on the basis of the analysis of the network public opinion situation,the paper compares and grasps the practice and effect of the government's public opinion guidance in different evolution periods in the case events.Finally,it sums up some dilemmas existing in the current government's network public opinion guidance.The third and fourth chapters aim to return from the special to the general,stillproceeding from the analytical framework of the field theory,combining the "social field","the new media field" and "the psychological field" these three major public opinion fields,and based on the government itself,probing into the reasons behind the dilemma of government network public opinion guidance,and then put forward the relevant optimization path of government network public opinion guidance.The purpose of the paper is to enable the government to strengthen the ability of public opinion guidance under the background of the highly developed Internet and give full play to the role of opinion expression in cyberspace,grasping the appropriate discourse leading power,and finally build a rational development of network public opinion space and ensure the order and stability of a harmonious society.
