Research On The Function Of Trade Unions In Chinese Universities

The university trade union is a kind of party and mass organization,as a working-class mass organization led by the Communist Party of China.It adopts the principle of voluntary union,a bridge between the party and university staff,and an important social pillar of the state power.As an important participant in the democratic management of colleges and universities in our country,trade unions play an irreplaceable role in protecting the rights of teachers and staff,promoting democratic management in schools,and promoting school construction.At present,the independence of faculty and staff as the main body of colleges and universities is increasing,the sense of ownership is becoming stronger,the participation in school construction,management and supervision is increasing,and the position of trade unions in the management system of colleges and universities is also more important.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to strengthen the research on the function of college trade unions,analyze their deficiencies,and explore their future reform and development direction.Although the construction of trade unions is booming nowadays,many problems have been solved.However,the increasingly complex reality has put forward more requirements for college trade unions.In order to strengthen the reality and feasibility of the research results in this article,I collected data from the labor unions in colleges to investigate and analyze the status of their functions,to gain a deeper understanding of functions of the Chinese labor unions.And explore the causes and solutions of problems.This article is divided into five parts.The first part: introduces the background,significance and research methods of this article,summarizes and categorizes the research results on the role of trade unions in China,and gives a brief overview of the innovations and deficiencies of this article;Part II: The definition of the relevant concepts of trade union functions: including the definition of trade unions andcollege trade unions,as well as their four basic functions and specific functions.Part III: Explore history of the development of the functions of trade unions in Chinese colleges,analyze the achievements of the functions of trade unions in China 's colleges,and explore their functions from the specific performance of the maintenance,participation,construction and education functions of trade unions and analyzed the existence of problems which seriously hindered the development of college labor unions;Part IV: Analysis the reason behind the insufficient performance of functions;Part V: Propose some solutions to the problem.The research on the functions of trade unions in colleges today is mainly based on theoretical analysis,and there is a lack of targeted and refined research.This article focuses on the details,and dig deeply into the problems in the performance of trade union functions in colleges.Based on reality,analyze the function of college trade unions and try to put forward suggestions on promoting the function of college trade unions.
