Since the founding of the people's Republic of China in order to promote economic reocvery,the state has implemented an eoonomic system with public ownership as the main body and multiple ownership economies developing together.T he resulting socialist market eoonomy with Chinese characteristics has not been reoognizad by the international community for a long time.Until now,the United States and other countries still deny China's market economy status On this basi,the foreign trade activities supported or operated by state-owned enterprises and policy banks are easy to be used by other countries,and they are considered as prohibited subsidies or actionable subsidies stipulated by WTO;The rights of some developing countries that China gave up when it joined the WTO,coupled with China's lack of experience in international trade relief,insufficient reserve-and incomplete domestic legal support,have intensified the trend that countries use the WTO Countervailing System to crack down on China's export trade to restore their relevant industries With the rise of trade protectionism once again,anti subsidy to China continues to heat up.In order to better respond to the countervailing investigation of various countries to China it is necessary to analyze the current situation and characteristics of the countervailing investigation suffered by China at present,summarize the reasons why China is facing the urgent countervailing situation,put forward the shortcomings of China in this process and find out the legal countermeasures for China to deal with the countervailing problem in the international trade This will not only promote Chinese enterprises to be in line with international standards in product design,production and operation,financial management and after-sales service,but also build new enterprises with international and standardized management;At the same time,it can provide strategic support for China's export trade by summing up experience in dealing with international trade disputes,training professionals to deal with international countervailing investigations.
