A Study On Information-based Management Of Prisons

Currently,with the rapid development of information technology(IT)in the world,serious of IT were utilized and is profoundly changing our social organization and the ways of production,lifeand communication.Information network and data resources have become another important factor of production and social resources in addition to material flow,capital flow and talent flow.The construction of information infrastructure in prisons has been gimproved,and the level of informatization in prison has also been significantly improved.Various advantages brought by informatization have gradually emerged,such as optimizing business processes,improving office efficiency,innovating application methods and service management modes,and enhancing the ability to maintain supervision security and reform criminals.This paper tookthe informatization management of XX prison in Chongqing as the research object,and pointed out the shortcomings of the informatization management of XX prison in Chongqing including the lack of informatization management system,the lack of data sharing,the low efficiency of information data collection,the lack of informatization talents,etc.Furtherly,based on the source,present study analyzed the causes of the problems of XX Prison Information Management: there are misunderstandings in the understanding of information technology,imperfect data sharing mechanism,insufficient investment in information technology,and backward training mode of information talents.Finally,this paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,including changing the management concept,improving the understanding;establishing and improving the management mechanism,improving the management efficiency;ensuring the management fund support,improving the system level of information management technology;strengthening the management talent guarantee.The present study give some suggestion for further improvment of prison information management and application.
