With the rapid development of mobile Internet,5G communication technology continues to mature,and mobile short video has emerged as an important way of content dissemination.As a new urban medium,mobile short video has gradually become an important tool for urban image construction and plays an important role in the development of urban soft power.Today,with the rapid development of urbanization and globalization,urban image is not only an important part of urban development strategy,but also an indispensable element to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the city.It is an important opportunity and a challenge for the construction of city image to grasp the content rule and communication mode of mobile short video properly.Based on the summary of the concept and characteristics of mobile short video and city image,this paper analyzes the characteristics of city image under the action of mobile short video.It is found that mobile short video,as a kind of urban media,is quite different from other traditional media,including traditional short video media in content and communication mode.Mobile short video,as a popular organ medium in the public,is changing the image of the city network and reshaping the real city space.In order to clarify the communication principle in the process of interaction between the two,the author summarizes the communication link of mobile short video acting on the city image through the 5W mode system.In the aspect of effect analysis,the author considers the effect of mobile short video on the city image through the effect investigatio n of the audience's cognition,acceptance,interaction and the audience's experience of the online red city.The survey found that the audience has a positive tendency to recognize and accept the city image through mobile short video,but there are also co gnitive biases on the city core logo.Finally,the paper summarizes the positive and negative effects of short mobile video on the image of a city,and points out that we should rationally analyze the phenomenon of short mobile video "holding a red city",and never blindly follow the trend without comprehensively analyzing the situation of the city itself.Then,a series of optimization strategies are put forward,and the scientific discussion on how to reasonably help the city image communication with mobi le short video is carried out.
