The founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949 is a new era in Chinese history.Profound changes have taken place in the country's politics, economy, culture and all aspects of society. These great changes require the same profound changes in the administration of justice.Justice plays an important role in consolidating state power, maintaining social stability, ensuring social order and adjusting social relations. Therefore, the Chinese Communist Party has always attached great importance to judicial construction.Generally speaking, the construction of judicial system in our country is to "create new ones".Although the old legal system has been destroyed, the old judicial concept and system have not been completely eliminated. On the one hand, these remnants of old ideas and systems pose a certain threat to the new regime,on the other hand, they also hinder economic development. In June 1952,New China launched the first nationwide judicial reform movement and carried out nationwide judicial reform. This judicial reform is centered on ideological construction, organizational construction and style con struction, and has achieved certain results. After this judicial reform, the old judicial concept has been effectively removed and the people's judicial concept has been established. The judiciary and judicial personnel have been reorganized and the judiciary and judicial organs have been purified. The old judicial style has also been corrected and the judicial style of the mass line has been established. The judicial reform from 1952 to 1953 enabled the establishment and development of people's justice and had a profound impact on the legal system construction after that.Taking history as a mirror, reviewing history is to better face the future. Now when we study judicial reform,we cannot ignore the judicial reform in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China.Researching the judicial reform in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China will help us continue to explore the construction of the judicial system and the path of judicial reform in the future.Under the background of the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, judicial reform needs not only to learn from previous successful experiences, but also to proceed from reality, based on the basic national conditions in China and in line with international standards,to explore a judicial system with Chinese characteristics in the new era,to further promote the combination of judicial reform and rule of law,and to meet the requirements of a socialist country ruled by law.
