Research On Crimes Committed By Bank Employees In China From The Perspective Of Strain Theory

Financial activity is the core of all economic activities and has a special status in the national economic life.In the entire financial system,banks are the top priority.In recent years,the problem of crimes committed by bank employees has attracted increasing attention.The socalled crimes committed by bank employees refer to the violation of bank management regulations and related regulations by their internal personnel,endangering relevant national management systems and causing certain serious consequences.Because the bank is an important credit intermediary,the crimes of its internal personnel pose a huge threat to the security of the financial order,and cause people to worry about their economic security.Therefore,various countries attach great importance to this type of emerging white-collar crimes and have legislation to regulate them.This article attempts to study the crimes committed by bank employees in China.By introducing Strain theory,it attempts to analyze the causes of crimes committed by bank employees in China in order to provide valuable suggestions for the crime prevention of bank employees.This article is divided into four parts,the main contents are as follows:The first part is an overview.This part defines the concepts of bank practitioners and bank practitioners' crimes,and clarifies the research crimes in this article.At the same time,it focuses on the detailed analysis of the characteristics of bank employees' crimes from the aspects of offenders,criminal methods and victimization.The second part is to elaborate the Strain theory.This part first summarizes the historical background of Strain theory.Then it discusses the theory of tension and its derived theories including institutional anomie theory,relative deprivation theory and general Strain theory.Finally,the enlightenment of stress theory for the analysis of crimes committed by bank employees in China is expounded.The third part is to analyze the causes of crimes committed by bank employees according to the Strain theory.By taking the Strain theory as the starting point,the causes of crime are analyzed from three aspects: macro system and culture,and micro personal occupational pressure.The fourth part is the countermeasures to prevent bank employees from committing crimes.According to the analysis of the causes of crimes committed by bank employees from the perspective of Strain theory in Part III,corresponding preventive countermeasures are proposed from the macro system and cultural dimensions,as well as the micro-personal level,in order to effectively prevent bank employees from committing crimes.
