Desktop Virtual Reality System Research Of Police Field Commander Training

The training of police field commander is training police field commanders to master the principles,methods and procedures of field command in terms of thinking,psychology and skills.Its purpose is to improve their decision-making,command and dispatching capabilities.In order to solve the main problems in the field commander training in the past,the author introduces high-tech for a new era,desktop virtual reality technology,into the field of police field commander training.On this basis,the author designs and constructs a desktop virtual reality system for police field commander training.The research is guided by the design theory of "Constructionist Learning Theory","Humanistic Learning Theory" and "Cognitive Load Theory".It takes the completeness of training content,the order of training design,the convenience of human-computer interaction and the low cost of the system as the basic criterion.Starting from the analysis of the status of domestic and foreign police field commander training and the implementation of desktop virtual reality technology,the relevant concepts are scientifically defined,and the advantages and disadvantages of traditional training and different types of desktop virtual reality technologies are correctly judged.Then this paper provides the content,methods and procedures that are in line with the training of police field commanders in the new era,supported by "Modeling Technology","Levels of Detail Technology","Human-computer Interaction Technology" and "Sound Technology".Based on the above and taking the case of handling hostage-taking incidents as an example,the author designs this system.After the design of the system was completed,the research works hard on the construction and optimization of static and dynamic models,the construction of the main scene,and the realization of the operation interface,then successfully completes the construction of the system.The innovation of this research lies in demonstrating the necessity,reliability and urgency of combining police field commander training with desktop virtual reality technology;clarifying the content,methods and procedures of police field commander training based on desktop virtual reality technology;providing the practical operation mode of the desktop virtual reality system for the training of police field commanders.This innovation solves the main problems of the past field commander training such as single mode,poor substitution and the time,space and cost constraints.It also fills the research gap of simulated reality training of police field commanders.What's more,it is of great significance to promote the reform of police fieldcommander training and improve the system of public security education and training in China.
