Research On Red Army Uniforms And Their Supply During The Agrarian Revolutionary War

Military uniform is an essential daily necessities for soldiers.During the decade-long agrarian revolutionary war,the red army uniforms developed along with the changes in the revolutionary conditions and economic conditions of the red army.In this process,the unique historical characteristics of the red army uniforms were formed,and the uniforms embodied a rich spiritual spectrum.In this paper,based on agrarian revolutionary war period,with the red army uniforms and its supply as the research object,through to the development of the red army uniform during the agrarian revolutionary war,and military supplies supply source and the way of system,and analyze the characteristics of the red army uniforms in the history of this period,symbolism,and by the uniform embodies the spirit of the spectrum.The main body of the article is divided into four parts.The first part is the development of the red army uniforms.This chapter mainly based on time axis,the agrarian revolutionary war into the armed uprising period,the period of Jinggangshan Revolutionary base and against "encirclement and suppression",the long march and the red army long march reached northern Shanxi five stages,respectively detailed combing an overview of the red army uniforms in each period of time,includes the main red army uniforms of the specific formats,materials supply and demand of the red army uniforms,uniform trajectory and its driving force,etc.The second part is the supply source and way of military uniform material.Based on the analysis of the development course of red army uniforms in the first part,this chapter systematically summarizes the three supply sources of red army uniforms,that is,taking them from the enemy,taking them from the people and relying on themselves.According to the different sources,the red army adopted different ways to obtain the material of military uniforms.Among them,they were taken from the enemy,mainly by confiscating and punishing local tyrants,evil gentry and big capitalists,and by seizing them from the enemy's battlefield.The main method adopted by the people is the propaganda call to mobilize the masses to actively support the red army and to donate military clothing and materials.Self-reliance mainly refered to the encouragement of the red army to bring their own clothes when they join the army,the establishment of their own bedding and clothing factories to provide uniforms for the army's production,and the call for the red army to sew their own uniforms.The third part is the historical characteristics and symbolic significance of the red army uniforms.Based on the analysis and research of the first two parts,this chapter summarizes the three historical characteristics of the red army uniforms in the agrarian revolutionary war,that is,the emphasis on practicality,the consideration of aesthetics,the imitation and reference of styles,as well as the rough and disorderly military uniforms,and analyzes and discusses the revolutionary symbolic significance of the red army uniforms.The fourth part is the spiritual spectrum embodied by the military uniform.Based on the special historical background of the agrarian revolutionary war,the performance of the red army in the face of the shortage of military uniforms and supplies,this chapter analyzes that the spiritual spectrum embodied by the military uniforms mainly includes the spirit of equality of officers and soldiers,the spirit of unity and fraternity,the spirit of the arduous struggle.
