Research On Intelligence Work In Organized Crime Investigation

Organized crime with underworld nature and evil-force crime are specific kinds of organized crime.Judicial authorities are always taking severe measures to crack down these kinds of crime.With the development of social economy,the characteristics and situation of organized crime are also changing.Some new types of criminal methods have emerged.After several times of "Scratching(sweeping)Organized Crime with Underworld Nature and Evilforce Criminal Gangs",great achievements have been made.But there are still difficulties in cracking down these crime.It is difficulty in discovering criminal clues in time,rooting out all of criminal members and all of the funds from organized crime gangs.Through intelligence and application of intelligence,investigative organs can effectively crack these problems and improve the efficiency,root out all of the members of organized crime gangs,and seize all of the illegal funds.This dissertation discusses the intelligence collection,intelligence analysis and application in of organized crime investigation.The dissertation is divided into five parts:The first part is an overview.It respectively explains the concept of organized crime and the criminal intelligence,the legal characteristics of organized crime,the current characteristics and situation of organized crime and the difficulties of investigation.The second part is about the content of organized crime intelligence.It comprises organizational intelligence,intelligence of violence,intelligence of illegal funds and intelligence of illegal control.The third part is about collection of organized crime intelligence.It expounds the ways of intelligence collection,summarizes the bottlenecks of intelligence collection and puts forward the countermeasures.The fourth part is about organized crime intelligence analysis.It discusses the strategic analysis and tactical analysis of organized crime intelligence,expounds the objectives and contents of strategic analysis and tactical analysis.The fifth part is about the application of organized crime intelligence.Intelligence would be applied to combat organized crime.It also will be discussed from strategic and tactical perspectives.
