Research On The Crime Of Destroying Mineral Resources In China

Mineral resources are non-renewable resources among natural resources,which are the material basis of China's socio-economic development and an important guarantee for human production and life.In recent years,there has been a high incidence of crimes against mineral resources in China,which not only leads to the waste of mineral resources,but also seriously damages the ecological environment and even endangers the lives and property of the people.In response to this issue,this article analyzes the current status,characteristics and causes of crimes against mineral resources in China from a criminological perspective,using cases of crimes against mineral resources as a data base,and proposes corresponding countermeasures to prevent and control such crimes in practice.This paper is divided into five main sections.Part I: Introduction.This part mainly introduces the research background,research significance,main research methods and the current status of domestic and international research.Part II: Overview of crimes against mineral resources in the country.This part defines the concepts related to crimes against mineral resources in China,delineates the research scope of this paper,analyzes the hazards of crimes against mineral resources,and combs the laws and regulations regulating crimes against mineral resources in China.Part III: Analysis of the current status of crimes against mineral resources in China and typical behavioural patterns.Through the collection of verdicts on 2237 cases of crimes against mineral resources from 2016 to 2018 in the itslaw.com,and the extraction of effective information on the cases,the analysis of the current status and characteristics of crimes against mineral resources in China,combined with the first-hand information obtained through field research,summarized the typical behaviors of such crimes,and provided an objective and clear understanding of crimes against mineral resources as a whole.Part IV: Analysis of the reasons for the crime of destroying mineral resources in China.Based on the theory of systemic structural causes of crime,this section explores the reasons for the persistence of crimes against mineral resources,both at the social and individual levels,and provides a basis for the development of preventive and control measures.Part V: The Prevention and control countermeasures for crimes of destroying mineral resources in China.Through an analysis of the current status and causes of crime,and taking into account the actual situation in China,it is proposed to strengthening sectoral cooperation,improve legal provisions,increase penalties,deepen integrity education,regulate market order and encourage public participation in prevention and control measures,and build a comprehensive prevention and control system with effective government supervision,a highdegree of market self-regulation and active public participation,so as to effectively protect mineral resources.
