Research On The Temporal And Spatial Characteristics Of Typical Urban Crime Of Theft And Its Formation Mechanism

Urban crime is one of the main social problems that affect the safety,stability and healthy development of the city for a long time,and it has always been the focus of government administration,public security departments and research institutions.Rencently,with the deep study of scholars,it is found that the spatial environment of the city affects the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and the laws of urban criminal activities at all times,and the special space environment can influence the interaction between the perpetrators and the victims,thus stimulating or suppressing the crime.Therefore,it has an important sense to study the characteristics of space-time distribution of criminal activities and the formation mechanism.The spatio-temporal distribution and formation mechanism of criminal activities are studied by using spatiotemporal mining techniques to discover the hidden knowledge and insight.Can understand the phenomenon of crime more comprehensively and objectively and identify the pattern of crime.It can provide scientific basis for the public security departments to reasonably deploy police resources.In this study,the theft crime in the main urban area of H city from 2009 to 2012 as the research object,and relevant theories and methods areused for reference and studies the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and formation mechanism of various types of theft crimes from the perspectives of regional grid and road network.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Analysis of the case(theft crimes)characteristics and the specific business requirements of the Ministry of Public Security event data.Combined with the research objectives,the paper proposes to explore the temporal and spatial distribution of crimes from different perspectives.Ased on the theory and method of spatio-temporal data model,the spatio-temporal data model of case events based on regional grid and road network is constructed,on this account explore the spatio-temporal distribution pattern of case events from different perspectives.(2)Study on spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and evolution rules of case events.Based on the spatiotemporal data model of case incidents,the spatial and temporal hotspot distribution characteristics and evolution rules of case incidents under different perspectives are studied.The results show that there are obvious spatiotemporal heterogeneity characteristics of the three types of theft crimes in the main urban area of H city.From the analysis of spatial distribution,the three types of theft crimes show a spatial distribution pattern that gradually decreases from inside to outside,and the high crime rate areas are concentrated in the center of the study area.From the time series analysis,the hot spot period of crime is from April to October on the monthly scale,and the hot spot period on the daily scale is concentrated between 7 o'clock and 13 o'clock.From the analysis of the temporal and spatial distribution law,with the passage of time,the crime hotspot pattern and the crime spatiotemporal hotspot section will change accordingly.(3)Integrate multi-source data to study the formation mechanism of urban theft crimes,integrate spatial entity environmental data,population data and socio-economic data,and build a detection model to explain the formation mechanism of spatial differentiation of case events,and discover and analyze the internal driving forces and influencing factors affecting spatial differentiation of case events.
