The Impact Of The Use Of Mobile Social Networks On The Socialization Of Left-behind Youth In Sichuan Tibetan Areas

Today in the 21st century,with the development of mobile Internet and the widespread popularity of smart phones in Sichuan Tibetan areas,new types of social networks based on mobile media such as QQ,We Chat,Tik Tok,and Kwai,etc.are very popular among the youth left behind in Sichuan Tibetan areas.Lack of face-to-face communication with parents,mobile social networks have become the main tool for youth left behind in Tibetan areas of Sichuan to communicate with their parents;lack of parental love,care and companionship,mobile social networks have become the most important spiritual comfort and spiritual companionship in the daily lives of youth left behind in Tibetan areas of Sichuan;lack of communication with grandparents and other guardians due to cultural and generational differences,entertainment and chatting and making friends have become the most important means of communication between youth left behind in Tibetan areas of Sichuan and their parents.The main purpose of using mobile social networks among the youth left behind in Sichuan Tibetan areas.Mobile social networks have become the primary platform for communication,emotion regulation,information acquisition and recreation for left-behind youth in Tibetan areas of Sichuan,playing an important role in their social life and deeply affecting their socialization.Based on this background,this paper investigates the relationship between mobile social networks and the socialization of left-behind youths in Tibetan areas of Sichuan province,taking the youths from the first to the second year of high school in Heishui County,Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture as the target of the study,and investigates the use of mobile social networks by left-behind youths in Tibetan areas of Sichuan province and the resulting impact on their socialization.Firstly,a descriptive analysis of the use of mobile social networks and socialization of left-behind youths in Tibetan areas in Sichuan was conducted based on the results of the questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews,in order to present the current status and characteristics of their mobile social network use and socialization.On this basis,with the help of correlation and regression analysis,we investigate the impact of mobile social network use on the socialization status of left-behind adolescents in Tibetan areas of Sichuan in terms of intensity of use,degree of dependence,and attitudes towards use,in terms of social interaction,learning ability,psycho-emotional,and national identity.The study found:First,the socialization of young people left behind in the Tibetan areas of Sichuan is unique.They are higher than non-stay-behind youths only in the dimension of life skills;they are lower than non-stay-behind youths in terms of social interaction,learning ability,personality behavior,moral behavior and psychological emotions.Second,in terms of mobile social network usage,left-behind adolescents in Tibetan areas of Sichuan have an obvious tendency to use mobile social networks for entertainment purposes,and the intensity of mobile social network usage and the degree of dependency of left-behind adolescents are significantly higher than those of non-leftbehind adolescents.Third,the use of mobile social networks to create a new social environment had a significant impact on the socialization of left-behind youths in Tibetan areas in Sichuan.On the whole,the use of mobile social networks had a negative impact on the social interaction,learning ability,life skills,and moral behavior of left-behind adolescents in Sichuan Tibetan areas,and a positive impact on the psycho-emotional and national identity of left-behind adolescents in Sichuan Tibetan areas,while the use of mobile social networks had a negative impact on the social interaction,learning ability,life skills,and moral behavior of left-behind adolescents in Sichuan Tibetan areas.The character behaviors of the youth left behind in the Tibetan areas of Sichuan were not affected.Finally,on the basis of the analysis of the causes of the impact of the use of mobile social networks on the socialization of left-behind youth in Tibetan areas of Sichuan,and based on the problems found in the survey,this paper proposes a more systematic multidimensional approach to positively promote the socialization of left-behind youth in Tibetan areas of Sichuan: First,parents of left-behind youth should be good at using mobile social software to strengthen interaction with their children;second,schools and teachers should To assume the role of promoting the normal socialization of left-behind youths;third,to strengthen the education of new media literacy for left-behind youths in Sichuan Tibetan areas;fourth,to strengthen the construction of cultural facilities in Sichuan Tibetan villages;and fifth,to guide the role of public welfare organizations and social forces.The aim is to promote the positive development of the socialization of young people left behind in Sichuan's Tibetan areas,helping them to grow up stronger and better integrate into society.
