Along with the development of economy, quickening the pace ofurbanization, and with labor exporting constantly, the children are left in rural area, raised and educated by grandparents’ generation. The deficiency of education fromparents will impact the socialization of left-behind children in every aspect. Theincreasing issue of living, psychology, education and safety of left-behind children isslowly coming into public consciousness, and gradually get recognized by society. The socialization issue of left-behind children matters the quality levels of futuregeneration of our county, the development of education in rural area, the building ofnew countryside, and the remarkable progress of socialist harmonious society! Most of the scholars researching the nurturing across generations take theperspective of psychology as viewpoint, take the sociological theory as basement, take families as inspection groups, research the socialized influence on the left-behindchildren raised across generations. The author chose the Gangshang town, NanchangCounty, Jiangxi province which she has lived in, selected some families to visit, research on the situation being influenced in socialization aspects, to come up withfeasible suggestions in order to create more favorable environment for this specialgroup. The article is divided into four parts. The second chapter integrates the interviews tothe left-behind children of Gangshang Town and describes the current situation ofnurturing across generations among them. The third chapter deeply analyzes theinfluence on the socialization progress of left-behind children brought by nurturingacross generations. The forth chapter brings some suggestions of improvementaccording to the situation of Gangshang Town and from three perspectives ofgovernment, school and individual. I combined the documents from researchers in the past, through case interviewand study, approached the families of left-behind children raised across generations. Iobtained their current situation, which has many problems occurs with socializationprocess. I also found that the left-behind children normally are unconcern about theirparents but has closer relationship with grandparents. Their character creation isrelatively introverted mood, and they has higher frequency of deviant behavior. Mostof their grandparents has relatively low cultural level, and can’t scientifically solvethe children’s issues which occur in their socialization progress, but only by years oflife experience. I’m highly concerned about their situation and hoping to attract moreattention from society and public through this article. The left-behind children canonly grow healthily with the preferential policy from government and the intimatecare from their parents.
