?Learn Chinese with Me?is a popular Chinese textbooks for teenagers,there are lots of different editions of different languages have been published and widely applied in the high school mandarin classes in the world.As we know,that reasonable practice is an important factor which will affect the SLA,and it is also a important standard to evaluate a teaching material.This paper is based on Behavioral psychology theory,"language monitoring mode" of Krashen,combine with teaching methodology of communicative teaching method,practice setting up principles for teaching Chinese as a second language,which were summarized by scholars.And we analyzed the exercises of?Learn Chinese with Me(Volume I)?(Portuguese Edition)from the perspectives as follows:quantity of exercises,exercise type,exercises content.Then combined with the author's teaching practice,on the basis of comparison of Chinese-Portuguese bilingual,put forward ideas to the settings of practice from the perspective of Country-specific,hoping to make the practice settings of Portuguese Edition more targeted.Our research is based on a literature study of research methods,statistical analysis,and comparative analysis.About the quantity of exercises,we observed the data of exercises in textbook and in workbook respectively.Combined with second language teaching theory and specific principles for design exercises,we come up with the analysis and conclusion as follow.First,this material separated "class practice"(in the textbooks)and "after-class practice"(in the workbook),and the after-class practice has been designed in a separated booklet,this reflect the designer paid a lot of attention on the exercise,we think the arrangement is reasonable.Second,the exercises of each class are nearly the same quantity.Third,after counting the exercises in textbook and workbook,we found that the quantity of exercise of each basic element of Chinese is relatively average.The phonic exercise proportion is slightly higher than the others.We consider this as a reasonable design,for the reason of this material was designed for the early stages of the integrated courses.About the exercise types,we described all the types that have shown in this material,and separated the fixed types and divertive types.About the content,we combine with the theories of the teaching of Chinese as a second language,and analyzed respectively from the aspects of pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,characters,communicative activities from respectively in the textbook and workbook.On country-specific practice setting,we first compare the two languages(Chinese and Portuguese)in the aspects of phonetics,vocabulary,grammar and culture,some solution s are proposed on the basis of this comparison.
