Autochthonal Portuguese is pure Portuguese bom in Macao, or the persons born in Macao with Sino-Portugal ancestry , or foreign citizens of Portugal origin not born in Macao but settling down in Macao and accepting local culture, or pure foreign citizens who accepting Portuguese culture in Macao.During the long history of Macao, Autochthonal Portuguese forms a special groups in Macao .They keep and demonstrate the portuguese culture, enrich the culture elements in Macao, become an important parts of Macao. However, after regression of Macao in 1999, the number of Autochthonal Portuguese has been become less and less, their life has become closer and closer, and many Autochthonal Portuguese are puzzled with their adscription and national choice. Especially Chinese and Portuguese has become required foreign languages, while Chinese is domain language, and the use of Portuguese is lessen. The lessen and disappearance of an national language must deduce the lose of the culture. Now, Portuguese culture in Macao face the latent imperial. Without Autochthonal Portuguese and Portuguese culture ,Macao is not Macao. So keeping and developing today's Autochthonal Portuguese culture is a necessary problem which must be face to. As the carrier of culture, education is duty-bound for the keep and deliver of culture .The element education is the main parts of the Autochthonal Portuguese's education. So, in order to maintain and conserve the Portuguese culture, promote the social harmonious in Macao, the thesis will discuss the direction of their elementary education after regression of Macao, through investigating the trend of developing in Macao and national element education and probing into the present of Autochthonal Portuguese's element education.The study tries to carding the history of Macao, and of the element education in Macao and Autochthonal Portuguese with documentary.
