Under the era background which is made up with knowledge innovation and knowledge application,facing to the problem of global climate variation and our country is confrongted with many important geographic problems such as energy resources,environmental and population problem and so on.The one only with the ability of innovation and problem solving can adapt to the development of the society in the future.But due to the indifference of geography at junior middle school stage.made the geographical subject be low status,combined with its comprehensive is much stronger,and students' foundation is weak,it is too difficult to understand for students.which further affects students to exactly know the geographical subject of senior high school stage,so geography is such a subject that is difficult and lacking learning interest to high school students.Along with the continuous renewal of the 21st century knowledge,To cultivate students' innovation spirit,improve their innovation ability and practice ability of theyselves would become the way of teaching.The strong and weak of the students' practice ability and innovation spirit depends on the breadth and depth of their thinking,however,all "thinking" come from "question".In order to adapt to the need of the era of knowledge and economy talent cultivation,a teaching modethat use "problem" as the center,to construct the knowledge based on the problem solving,play to students' personality andcultivat students' creativity,problem-solving teaching mode,which gradually recognized by education.This topic is under the premise of understanding and inquiring the era background and the status quo of the geography teaching,On the basis of reading related literature review,the writer explores the current domestic and international research status of problem solving teaching model,Combining with the teachers and students' practical teaching situation during the internship,Depiciting the straw burning,try to discuss how to apply the problem solving teaching model preferably in geography teaching of high school,the background of new curriculum reform in high school geography teaching,To transfer students' learning interest and enthusiasm to geography subject,improve their practice ability and innovation ability,make the teaching effect more better and students get all-around development.Using the methods of literature review,analysis and induction,analogy analysis,case analysis and so on.The paper from theory to practice systematically to explore the application of the problem-solving teaching model in the high school geography teaching.First,combining with the characteristics of the development of contemporary education,and looking forward to its development trend,show the basis and significance of this model is applied to geography teaching of high school,Through the methods such as reading literature,sorting data,analyzing the current research situation at home and abroad,summarizing the advantages and disadvantages,looking for the entry point of the thesis;Second,introduced the problem-solving teaching mode on the basis of the basic situation,conform to the regular pattern of the development of modern education,discussed the basic application form,such as Dialogue type teaching,asking-discussion-based,lead-inquiry;application strategy,such as ask questions and solve problems;follow the principle:Subjectivity,innovative and practical.operating steps:(1)teachers create problem situation,introduct the subject;(2)students integrate into the situation,to find and ask questions;(3)teachers and students together to explore,analyze and solve problems.and applied range in geography teaching of high school and summarized some problems which should be pay more attention to when we apply the mode,such as:(1)Don't confuse"problem solving" and "solving problem";(2)to deal with the problems of teaching role among teachers and students correctly;(3)Reasonable distribut the time of the teaching;(4)pay attention to selection problem of the content when use the problem solving teaching model.Finally,Select the hot topic of "straw burning" from actural life as the breakthrough point,to study with the model that is applied to the case about geography teaching of high school,To achieve the rationality and feasibility of the model applied to geography teaching,By guiding students to explore the problems to really improve students' comprehensive qualities and comprehensive abilities.The end of the article reviews the whole research process,and summarize some achievements as well as the deficiencies.For example:as the time,the practice teaching of the mode is not much,success is not obvious;the promotion and popularization of the model is applied to geography teaching of high school needs further explore;due to Inexperience,limited research process and the teaching design thinking,research be a little superficial,etc.At the same time,being full of confidence and looking forward to the future development trend to the problem solving teaching model.
