Since the reform and opening,People's cognition about education has undergone major changes with the continuous proceeding of educative reform.With enlarged the number of educated people and increased average years of schooling of labor force,China becomes a powerful nation of education.Faced with the ever-changing economic and social environment at home and abroad,the competition of talents is becoming more and more intense,and higher demands are put forward for education.Chinese educational reforming today is in a special period of progressing from quantity expansion to quality improvement.The national reform schedule focuses on comprehensive quality education and education equity.The newest zoning method is used with considering of sex to analyze the equity in education based on regional education returns.Firstly,our samples collected from Chinese General Social Survey(CGSS)are working age,non-Army persons with positive income.Secondly,regional education returns on samples of recent 10 years is calculated by using classical and expanded Mincer education income rate equations separately.Finally,based on gender differences,the education rate of each region is calculated in the same way.Through the comprehensive analysis of the results of the data,the following conclusions are drawn:the educational yield is shocked and return of higher education has not been increasing these years.In the rank of regional education returns,the eastern region is located in the upper and middle levels and other region's education returns vary a lot.Gender differences exacerbate the regional imbalance,and the absolute income of women is always lower than the male.To avoid these unbalance phenomenon occurred,some measures are required.Through the construction of a more complete education system,the integration of production and research,professional and academic education diversion,and the corresponding reserves for the enterprises,the government can achieve a steady growth of education yields.Other measures such as improving education quality comprehensively,implementing fair share of education and raising women's economic returns to schooling in backward areas are all enhancing to eliminate the gap of education income rate in different region.
