As the dual economic structure of China has not been completely broken, therefore, the economic development imbalance between urban and rural areas still exist, which brings the most significant problem is that there is still a large gap between the income of urban and rural. This tough problem troubles almost all the countries on the way to development,so is China. However, with the continuous development of industrialization,a large quantity of the rural population migrating to urban areas, which has brought a lot of labor resources and consumer demands to urban areas, driving both the urban economic and the income of rural residents growing, and for the original inhabitants of left-behind in rural areas, because of the local population to reduce, can share more resources endowment, while its operating income will increase.Although population flow brings advantage, population flow has to do with age, which means that most of the migrating people is young and strong, resulting in the aging population growth in rural areas, and even appears the current "urban and rural inversion" situation. Therefore, the main content of this paper is to find out, with the background of China's large population flow and rural aging, what will happen to the income gap between urban and rural areas, while on the basis of theoretical and empirical analysis,to give some reasonable policies and suggestions on how to further narrow the current urban-rural income gap.First of all, this paper basing on the existing and related theories, set up the analyzing framework of population flows, aging, and the income gap between urban and rural areas, and explore the influence mechanism among the three matters above.Through the analysis of what the path is that the population flow influences on the income gap between urban and rural areas,to explore the function of population flow on the income gap between urban and rural areas, and by the related theory to discuss the effects of aging on the income gap. This paper also discusses the interaction relationship between population flow and ageing, and put forward that the interactive item of aging and population flow has combined effects on the income gap between urban and rural areas, and also put forward three hypotheses.Secondly, this paper measured indicators of population flow, aging, and he income gap between urban and rural areas, then analysis the overall changes,Regional differences and trends of the three matters.Thirdly, this paper collected the provincial panel data from 2005 to 2014,using a dynamic panel data model to verify the three hypotheses which were put forward in the theoretical part. Finally, this paper combined the research conclusion with the actual situation of our country, and gave some reasonable policies and suggestions on how to further narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas.
