In recent years,although the country has always attached the importance of education in ethnic areas,the ethnic areas affected by the traditional religious belief,modern education started late,the quality of education and teaching is relatively backward.In the minority areas,the students' learning situation is negative and passive.With the implementation of the curriculum reform in our country,training rigid way of learning has been severe challenges,such as listening and reciting,so get the attention and focus on cooperation,research and innovation as the main characteristics of diversification,reasonable and scientific way of learning.This paper carries out the investigation of the senior one students' chemistry study ways in the ethnic minority areas,to guide and change the learning style of the minority students,promoting the ethnic minority areas education development.This paper based on collection of documents,referring to the study of learning styles abroad and at home about the understanding of the learning styles and defined,and combined with the characteristics of chemistry subject,the author makes up one questionnaire named “the questionnaire of learning styles in ethnic minority areas of senior one students chemistry” and chooses 230 senior one students from Jishishan County national middle school as the object of investigation,at the same time selected 16 senior one students as the interview objects.The data were analyzed by Spss18.0 and Excel2007.Through the analysis of questionnaire data and interview conclusion analysis,the status of high school students learning style in ethnic regions,and then according to the analysis of the causes behind these situation,put forward the suggestions to changes the way of chemistry learning in senior one students.The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,Jishishan County national area senior one students' chemistry learning the status represent as follows:(1)senior one students with learning style of more traditional and single;(2)senior one boys and girls are different in the way of chemistry learning;(3)senior one the Han nationality and the minority students have significant differences in the chemistry study way.The problems are as follows: the weak consciousness of chemistry learning;the single way of using chemistry learning strategies;lack of the ability of metacognition in applied chemistry learning.Secondly,change the way of chemistry learning suggestions:(1)the government should actively guide the parents to change school education ideal,increase the education of ethnic areas "take targeted measures to help people lift themselves out of poverty" and the training of teachers in ethnic minority areas,and promote the transformation of students' learning styles;(2)the school should pay attention to the professional development of teachers and encourage teachers to innovate teaching;(3)teachers should update the teaching idea,strengthen students' learning tendency;cultivate students good study habits,advocate diversification of learning strategies;paying attention to diversity,improve student learning meta-cognition(4)advises students to enhance self-awareness,learning orientation;optimizing learning strategies,to build their own learning styles;initiative,improve the metacognitive awareness of learning.
