In the past five years,Hands-on Inquiry Based Learning(HIBL)program has highly valued,a series of documents aimed to promote the development of HIBL were issued by the national government.In December 2016,the Ministry of education and other 11 departments jointly issued a document,clearly put forward to add the HIBL "into the education and teaching plan for primary and secondary schools,Specifically,to primary school students" the HIBL program should be arranged in the four to the sixth grade ",with the theme of "hometown identity"(Xiang Tu Xiang Qing).As HIBL is a burgeoning program in China now,the relevant academic research is scarce.According to the situations stated above,I mainly employed inspection,collection and Research on previous literature,to understand the domestic and foreign educators’ researches of HIBL,and to conduct a comprehensive study combing their opinions and viewpoints.Then through the field observation in the Longmatan District of Luzhou city primary school T from the fourth grade class 1 “hometown identity" research activities,and interview the school administrators,teachers and parents on behalf of the sixth grade to a total of 35 people.Interviewing questions include: primary school learning travel research degree,basic understanding,influencing factors,carry out or participate in,experience and harvest,confusion and difficulties.Through the observation and interview,data were collected and analyzed,finding pointed out that the main problems are: Target is not clear,the key points are not obvious;the contents are not rich enough,too thin;the form tradition is not enough,the planning organization is not rigorous enough,and the security mechanism is not perfect,the research effect is poor,no establishment of evaluation system,and so on in five aspects.The reasons could be attributed to three parts: school,teacher and the third party cooperation.Five strategies to solve the problems are put forward: clear goals,rich connotation,form innovation,organization and implementation,quality evaluation.
