Study travel is an important content of primary and secondary school comprehensive practical activity class.Carrying out study travel helps to promote students' cultivation and practice of socialist core values,facilitate the full implementation of quality education,innovate personnel training mode,and promote the deep integration of book knowledge and life experience.In order to objectively understand the study travel demand of primary and secondary school students in Kunming,this research takes 237 students who come from 4 schools such as the first middle school in Kunming Xishan as object.Author use questionnaire survey to investigate the study travel demand of selected students,and in-depth interviews with some parents and teachers.All of this jobs for truly reflecting the study travel demand of primary and middle school students in Kunming city,find out the features,and try to give some personal suggestions.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,the research background,the topic,the research significance,the research content,the research object,the research method and the tool and so on.The second chapter is the literature review and theoretical basis,the core concept,the theoretical basis of this research,the relevant literature in the domestic and international combing.The third chapter is the research result and the analysis part.Investigate the students' cognition and the demand degree of the study travel from several dimensions such as the understanding channel.Investigate the specific content of students' needs from 7 dimensions,such as learning objective.Using independent sample T test and single factor analysis to analyse the demand differences among students from the three aspects of grade,gender and family background.The factors influencing students' demand are analyzed from four aspects: personal intention,family background,investment income and research guarantee.The fourth chapter is the conclusion and suggestions.The research shows students' understanding of the study travel mainly from the school publicity and introduction of friends,most of students are willing to participate in the study travel.Most of the students hope that one or two times each year to participate in the study travel,each study travel time they need is 3-5 days or 6-7 days,almost 80% of the students hope to other provinces or abroad to do study travel.Safety guarantee is the most important elements students considering,followed by effective organization.The study travel themes the students like are natural ornamental type and knowledge type.The learning contents the students like are natural science knowledge,historical and cultural knowledge,safety knowledge,patriotic spirit.Most of the students want to achieve the purpose of exercising body and hands by study travel.The difference analysis results: low grade students hold higher subjective initiative for study travel.The need differences among male students and female students are not obvious.Minority students have their own special study travel needs.The education level of students' parents are not high,but the students have very strong study travel desires.Family economic level and the paying ability affect student's wishes and needs.Finally,the author gives suggestions to the study travel of primary and middle school students in Kunming City,the first is to strengthen propaganda of the study travel,second is to do organization guarantee of study travel,third is to improve the mechanism of study travel funds,the fourth is student centered.
