Higher vocational education has trained a large number of applied talents with professional knowledge and skills for the country and ethnic areas,and has served as a strong support for the rapid and sustained development of China's economy and society.However,from the reality,higher vocational education The outstanding features of the colleges and universities,such as the lack of prominent features in running schools and the low degree of student recognition by the society,have gradually attracted public attention.How to improve the academic achievement of higher vocational college students in minority areas and cultivate innovative talents that can meet the needs of the country and ethnic regions in the new situation is a very serious challenge for higher vocational colleges in ethnic areas.This study is mainly based on quantitative research and supplemented by qualitative research.It used vacant questionnaires,academic self-concept scales,and academic achievement questionnaires of vocational colleges to investigate 499 students in five vocational colleges in Nanning,Guangxi.Investigate the relationship among school ethos,academic self-concept and academic achievement in higher vocational colleges in order to provide corresponding educational strategies for improving the academic achievement of higher vocational college students.Through the study,the following conclusions have been drawn: The school ethos questionnaire of higher vocational colleges has a good reliability and validity;the school ethos in higher vocational colleges is in the middle and upper level,and there is no significant difference in whether there is only child or ethnicity,and the gender,grade,family source,There are significant differences in the nature of the school and the type of school;the academic self-concept of higher vocational college students is above the middle school level,and there is no significant difference in whether the students are the only child,ethnic group,or family source,and there are differences in gender,grade,school nature,and school type.Significantly,the level of academic achievement in higher vocational colleges is generally at an intermediate level,and there is no significant difference in demographic variables;there is a significant correlation between school style and academic achievement in higher vocational colleges;between school spirit and academic self-concept in higher vocational colleges.Positive correlation is significant;positive correlation between academic self-concept and academic achievement is significant;academic self-concept plays a role in mediation between academic style and academic achievement in higher vocational colleges.Gender adjusts in the structural equation model of school ethos and academic achievements.effect.
