Scientific Spirit and Social Responsibility are important contents of core-accomplishment,also they are an important measure of individual non-intellectual factor literacy and one of the important factors influencing students' Comprehensive quality.Meanwhile,it is also a necessary quality for individual's lifelong development.Researches on the Scientific Spirit mostly focus on the concept analysis,lacking of comparison and cultivation of Humanistic Spirit,the development of the scale is even rarer;The research on social responsibility is mostly in the cultivation of liberal arts such as political history and the investigation and research on the social responsibility of college students.There are many questionnaires about responsibility,but the social responsibility scale for high school students is rare.In view of the deficiencies of existing research,this study conducted interviews with experts on the basis of reading a large amount of literature,correspondingly conducted questionnaire surveys of teachers to determine the indicators of about high school students' scientific spirit and social responsibility scale.According to its indicators,based on the specific situation of High School students and the research has been done to compile questionnaires on scientific spirit and social responsibility,generated to a good reliability and validity scale after repeated trials and revisions.Research result:(1)The theoretical indicator system of scales as follows:There are three primary indicators for high school students' Scientific Spirit,that is Rational thinking,Critical questioning and Daring to stumble on the Rood to Discovery;Eleven secondary indicators are Evidence awareness,Be Practical and Realistic,Rigorous attitude and Logical ability;Problem awareness,Independent thinking and Judgment ability,Reflective consciousness,Flexible adaptability;Curiosity and imagination,Courage and Perseverance.There are four primary indicators of Social Responsibility for high school students,that is Honesty and Friendliness,Cooperation,Legal beliefs and Ecological awareness.There are eleven secondary indicators:Trustworthiness,Civilized courtesy,Filial piety,Longevity and volunteer service;Collaboration and Teamwork spirit;Observance of laws and regulations,Awareness of the rule of law and Adherence to fairness;Awareness of Environmental Protection and Resource Conservation.(2)The exploratory factor analysis shows that the Scientific Spirit and Social Responsibility scales are composed nine dimensions.Nine dimensions of the Scientific Spirit scale:Consciousness of question and reflection,Evidence awareness,Practical and Realistic logic,Rigorous attitude,Independent thinking and Judgment ability,Flexibility,Curiosity and imagination,Courage and Perseverance.Nine dimensions of the Social Responsibility scale:Honesty and civilization,Respect parents and other relevant Implication,Voluntary service,helping and collaboration,Team-working,Law-abiding,Rule of law consciousness,Adherence to fairness and justice,and Conservation awareness.(3)The reliability analysis result shows that:the internal Consistency Coefficient of the Scientific Spirit scale is 0.930,the Half-reliability coefficient is 0.901;the Internal Consistency Coefficient of social responsibility is 0.929 and the Half-reliability coefficient is 0.899.The validity analysis results show that:The correlation coefficient among the dimensions of Scientific Spirit is 0.307?0.619,and the correlation coefficient in each dimension and the scale is 0.452?0.837,both reached the Significant level;The correlation coefficient between the dimensions of Social Responsibility is 0.317?0.618,the correlation coefficient between each dimension and the scale is 0.612-0.812,all reached the Significant level.The research conclusions:The scale has good reliability and validity,this scale can be used as a tool to measuring the high school students'Scientific Spirit and Social Responsibility level.
