Discipline core accomplishment is the fundamental direction of our current classroom teaching reform.How to effectively cultivate the students' discipline core accomplishment in class? The answer is deep learning.Furthermore,the project-based learning is a bridge combining the shallow learning and the deep learning.How to cultivate the students' language core literacy through the elementary school reading teaching is urgently to be solved in the present.So this article focuses on the research about how to apply the project-based learning in the elementary school language reading teaching.To achieve the research target,this article is based on the constructivism theory,situated cognition theory,distributed cognition theory and metacognitive theory.And the research methods conclude the literature research,classroom observation and case analysis.This paper studies the practical framework of project-based learning,the project modification in the primary school Chinese reading teaching content,the implementation patterns and the guiding strategy of project learning in primary school Chinese reading teaching.This paper is divided into five parts to study and discuss how to apply the project based learning to Chinese reading teaching of primary school.The first,the author investigates the origin and development of the project-based learning from the historical dimension.Based on this,the problem direction of project learning is summed up from the four dimensions which conclude learning state,learning style,learning process and learning result,namely from the passive learning to active learning,from knowledge to practice,from the lower order thinking to higher order thinking,from the surface knowledge to its discipline nature.In a word,the project-based learning is from shallow learning to deep learning.Project-based learning not only promotes the development of learning,but also promotes the development of students.In the second part,the author analyzes the connotation and characteristics of project-based learning from the theoretical dimension.Through the analysis of domestic and foreign scholars' research on the definition of project learning and the discrimination between the project learning and problem-based learning,subject learning and STEM.Finally the author gives project-based learning a definition: the project-based learning is a kind of study which is oriented on the project work,integrating subject knowledge and problems in actual life,activating the intrinsic motivation,cooperation,explore,participate in practice to solve practical problems.In the third part,the author mainly analyses the value orientation of project learning in Chinese reading teaching of primary school from the result orientation value to the process orientation value,from the utilitarian orientation value to the meaning orientation value,from preset orientation value to generation orientation value.Then the main target of the project-based learning in primary school Chinese reading teaching is clearly set.In the fourth part,the author,based on the understanding of reading project and the selection of different typical cases in different texts,concludes the types and methods of projects and then respectively analyses cases for project's three levels.In the fifth part,the author summarizes the implementation mode and guidance strategies of the project-based learning in Chinese reading teaching of primary school.
