In this study, the self-help group of young type 1 diabetes patients was chosen as the research object, and the process of group dynamic action of self-help group in patients with chronic disease and the interaction between group motivation and members of group were explored. In order to arouse the society's concern about the establishment and development of the group of patients with chronic diseases and self-help groups, such as the form of rehabilitation of the disease. In this paper, the author uses the exploratory research technique of rooted theory to conduct in-depth interviews with five members of self-help groups by means of semi-structured interviews. From the coding analysis of the data,it is found that: 1.The issue of control is an important factor in the development of self-help group of young type 1 diabetic patients. The individual control of the members is an important part of the rehabilitation of disease, and it also influences the self-expression of self-help groups and their dependence on group leaders.2.Emotional support is an important factor in community dynamics in self-help groups in patients with chronic diseases, however, the task-oriented thinking of organization managers is inconsistent with the concern and expectation of members.3.As an informal social organization, the sustainable and healthy development of self-help groups with chronic diseases, from organizers to participants, requires professional education related to group work, this also confirms the significance of civic education in group work. The current experiential and emotional factors of the group are higher than the cognitive factors, and need higher level of cognitive education.Based on the above conclusions, the author puts forward some suggestions from three aspects: internal structure adjustment of self-help group, external professional support and policy institutional environment.
