In Order To Enhance The Research On Elderly Patients With Chronic Diseases Peer Support Group Work

Under the current background of aggregated endowment pressure,peer support plays an important role to elders chronic patients,as security guarantee,spiritual guarantee,respect guarantee and so forth.However,in real society,due to interpersonal communication ability is not enough,family intergenerational care task is heavy lead to personal time lacking,entertainment activities lacking and make the opportunity of touching with peers group reduced,many elders hasn't establish an effective peer support.Strengthening chronic peer support to chronic old patient by the working way of building groups can compensate insufficient care,improve activity participation,promote role exchange,strengthen safety belonging and other merits,which is an effective channel of solving problems facing peer support for chronic old patients.The paper based on social supportive theory,by means of group working to make pragmatic research on strengthening peers support for chronic old patients,try to discover possible channels of strengthening peers support for old patients.The research understood current status of peers support for old chronic old patients in S community,Q city by questionnaire,spot observation and semi-structural interview,the problems existed in system,so that to propose the way of group working to intervene the dilemma facing peers support for chronic old group.Commencing on personal micro aspect to solve the problems of lacking knowledge to chronic illness care and health care with great endeavors,negative useless theory and heavy spiritual pressure and so forth;commencing on professional aspect to help elders to promote self-recognition,improve interpersonal relations,learn and apply others' help-seeking experience by group interaction and sharing,so that to construct peer support network and promote elders happy life.The research studied the method of group working to strengthen peer support for chronic old patients,discovered and discussed its motive mechanism and method technique,it concluded: proper group target and members' approval to group activity,cohesive group activity content and establishment of mutual trust relation will play a positive influence in reaching group target,but insufficient formal support,mobilization entity and workers' professional skills will produce negative influence in reaching group target.Therefore,for negative factors,it proposed to advocate elder-respect culture in macro-aspect,focus on voluntary resources in middle sense and play the roles of social workers in micro-aspect and other advice.Through group practice and activity evaluation,the positive function of group working in constructing long-term and sustainable peers support network for chronic old patients is powerful proof,expanding social work can provide pragmatic experience of endowment services of chronic old patients.
