Due to the pressure of college entrance examination and competition,coupled with professional art is not very high to the requirement of academic achievement,many academic achievement is not a competitive advantage of high school students choose to participate in the arts college entrance examination,will it as a quick access to the university.The art life also developed with this social atmosphere.Most of them are students majoring in liberal arts,and basic mathematics is relatively weak.However,the college entrance exam seriously impedes the improvement of their comprehensive quality,and also becomes the obstacle for them to enter the ideal university.With the development of modern society,the progress of science and technology,mathematics has been deep into every field of social life,people more and more work needs to have a certain mathematical literacy,and specifically in the art education of mathematics learning is a worthy of attention and concern.The research methods adopted in this paper include questionnaire method and literature investigations method.The order of this paper: Firstly,the author summarizes the Art students,including the generation,the main features,etc.… The author also put forward the requirements of the new curriculum reform for art students.Secondly,the author gives the theory of mathematics learning difficulties of high school art students through the literature.And then according to the current art education of high art students in mathematics learning difficulties in performance were investigated.The art students and ordinary students were compared from the learning methods,learning habits,learning interest and other aspects.One of the 2013 students were used as a sample of the survey mainly from six schools in Gangu,Gansu province.The main reasons of the difficulties learning of art students were analyzed.And the ways to improve the mathematics learning of art students were put forward.From the point of view of teachers and students,the specific requirements were presented.Including the following five aspects of the change:(1)Strengthen the idea of education for the art students,so that they can value mathematics learning in their heart.(2)Explore the connection between art and mathematics,improve students' interest in mathematics.(3)Carry out diversified teaching activities such as activities according to the characteristics of art students.(4)Strengthen the guidance of students' mathematical learning methods in the teaching process.(5)Cooperate with parents to develop good mathematical study habits for arts students.
