In recent years,with the progress of medical science and technology,the average life expectancy of population in our country has been prolonged,the speed of aging population has been quickened,and the problems of old-age care and education for the elderly have become prominent.The Party and the government attach great importance to the education for the elderly,and propose to basically form a new pattern of education for the elderly with broad coverage,flexible and diverse features,and standard and orderly education by 2020.Combining raising and teaching,constructing a new mode of urban community old-age education,taking into account the community old-age care and education,for the elderly to create a happy learning,healthy old-age in the elderly community.In this study,8 community education institutions in Taipei,Fuzhou and other cities were selected as the research points,and the research method of semi-structured interview was used to study the community administrators and teachers.Volunteers and 80 participants in community geriatric education,including those involved in learning,conducted in-depth interviews to encourage the interviewees to say what they really thought.This paper explores the problems existing in the development of the current mode of community education for the elderly,and provides a reference for improving the mode of community education for the elderly and forming the education for the elderly with Chinese characteristics.Through the investigation,it is found that the current mode of community education for the elderly in our country is mostly government-led,with less participation among the people,the curriculum design is based on interest education and compensatory education,the professional teachers are short of professional teachers,and the participants are mostly from a good economic background.The "superior old people" with higher education level,the real older people,the poor economic situation and the poor health "weak old people" participate in the learning situation is not very ideal.The mode of community old-age education combined with education integrates community old-age care and educational resources,meets the objective needs of old-age care and education,and promotes the perfection of life-long education system.The so-called "nourishing"refers to the provision of health services.to-the elderly.We also hope that the elderly can take the initiative to shoulder the responsibility of safeguarding their personal health.The so-called "education" is the hope that through the concept of cultural heritage,the elderly can participate in community cultural activities,realize their self-worth,and serve the community.This model is based on the demand range theory of Howard McClusky and designs the curriculum content according to the actual needs of the elderly.Regular classes will be open to the elderly in nearby communities,and the public who are interested in the courses will be encouraged to sign up to participate.Through the flexible application of intergenerational and mixed-age teaching,intergenerational alienation will be eliminated.To promote parent-child education and family relations.Through community teaching,the elderly are encouraged to develop new interests,share cultural experiences from each other's growing up,and write stories about life.
