Research On The Gender Equality And Countermeasure In Present China

Promoting gender equality is the Chinese Communist Party’s inheritance and development of the Marxist concept of gender equality.It is an important content of the construction of socialist democracy in china and an important force to achieve the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Since the implementation of the policy of gender equality,China has formulated policies to protect the rights of women,the protection of women’s rights is more powerful.But today with the idea of shared development as the guide and the development benefits for all people,the inequality of gender is still widespread.The inequality is about the low level of women’s participation in public affairs management,the different education between the rural gender,employment discrimination against women and the heavy burden of housework and unpaid of women and so on.The causes of gender inequality are manifold,both historical and realistic and women’s own causes.To realize the equality between gender in China,we should perfect the relevant legal system,establish anti employment discrimination law,smooth the expression and feedback mechanism of women’s interests.Also we should guide the masses establish a correct social gender perspective awareness,promote equality between gender,construct advanced gender culture;raise the awareness and enhance the ability of female public participation;improve the women’s own quality,strengthen the consciousness of female subject.
