The teaching of chemistry knowledge in high school influences on students’ interest in studying chemistry and the complete establishment of their chemical knowledge system,and also influences on the formation of their discipline concept.The traditional teaching of chemistry concept focuses on the knowledge teaching and the ability to take exams,and pays little attention to the cultivation of students’ inquiry ability and subject concept.New curriculum standards require teachers to carry out various forms of inquiry learning,hoping to stimulate students’ interest in learning,strengthen the consciousness of inquiry and cultivate students’ innovative spirit and practical ability.The purpose of this paper is to study the concept teaching of high school chemistry based on scientific inquiry,and to explore new ideas for the teaching of chemistry concept class.This thesis research process includes three steps: firstly,the concept of scientific inquiry method and chemical research status at home and abroad were well understood through consulting a large number of relevant literature,the related concepts and theory system in this paper were systematically elaborated.Secondly,two concepts teaching design were designed by using the method of inquiry,and then the teaching cases were applied to the actual experiment.Thirdly,the students were surveyed from seven aspects after class,and the data processing of the collected questionnaires was conducted to discuss and study the effectiveness of the teaching design of high school chemistry concept based on scientific inquiry.The Studies have suggested that the inquiry method was applied to chemistry concept of teaching design,and That of chemical teaching has certain advantages,which can not only improve students’ understanding and mastering of abstract concepts,but also let students learn science inquiry method in the process of learning,strengthen students’ problem-solving ability and team cooperation ability,even more significantly stimulate students interest in learning and dramatically improve the students’ attention.In addition,the design of inquiry concept teaching is designed to ensure the integrity of the teaching design while taking into consideration for the development,openness,generative and reflective nature,which is recognized by the first-line teachers.Finally,teaching design was reflected the study on the application of the inquiry method in high school chemistry,the problems found in the empirical process were contemplated andsome suggestions were put forward for further study.
