With the new chemistry curriculum reform continued to deepen,there has been increasing attention to the issue of scientific inquiry. Inquiry Chemical Experiments is the core way of developing students'scientific inquiry ability,but at the practical level,teachers are perplexed for how to design a good Inquiry Chemical Experiments.This essay chooses ,which is developed and distributed in partnership by American Chemical Society and Oxford University Press in 2000,as the research object . This book gathers experiments textbook,lab manual,reference books for teachers as one unity,and of great research value. This book try to change the past"cookbook"labs,perform the experiments in an inquiry context.This essay analyzed several aspects of the characteristics of Inquiry Chemical Experiments design in this book from experimental arrangement system and the experiment content, as well as design for students,teachers and experimental. At the same time, we are trying to explore how the author tries to train students in scientific inquiry ability through the design of chemical experiments.On this basis, this article combined China's present stage of the experiment in textbooks on experimental design, comparing with American authors'design to find out the proper way for Chinese secondary school teachers'inspiration.
