The development of students' symbolic awareness has become an important goal of compulsory education.The use of mathematical symbols in junior high school has evolved from the field of arithmetic to the field of algebra.At the same time,rational numbers are an important part of the content of numbers and algebras,and numbers and algebras are used to develop student symbols.An important carrier of consciousness.However,through the collation of relevant literatures,it is not clear that the common problems concerning the awareness of symbols in the learning of rational knowledge of students are not clear.Therefore,based on the importance of symbol awareness training and rational number learning,this paper decided to study the common sense of symbolism in the study of rational numbers by junior middle school students.The problem is that it is hoped that teaching can be used as an inspiration for teachers and help students master the importance of rational knowledge.This study decided to start from the perspective of symbol awareness,first through the literature research method to understand the relevant research in the field of mathematical symbol concepts,symbol awareness and common problems reflected in the wrong questions.Then use the job analysis method to classify and collect the wrong questions,then combine the interview method and the classroom observation method and analyze the students' common questions in the three dimensions of symbol awareness.Through the research and conclusion,it is found that the common problems that students have in rational number learning include the following five aspects:(1)Errors and confusion in the application of concepts and properties related to rational numbers;(2)The algorithm is misused and the sequence of operations is reversed;4 calculation errors;5 trial questions are not rigorous.In order to cultivate students' symbol awareness and reduce students' problems in rational number learning,the author proposes to pay attention to students' understanding of the concept and nature of symbols,attach importance to the convergence of mathematics teaching in primary and secondary schools,and pay attention to cultivating students' good lectures in the teaching process.Three aspects of habits are used to strengthen students' countermeasures for symbol understanding;from the perspective of coherence and purpose ofsymbolic instruction,and to strengthen the training of students' reading ability,students' countermeasures in terms of symbols are improved;In the teaching process,we should cultivate the correct habit of writing mathematics to improve students' countermeasures in terms of symbol operation.operation.
