Since the "Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Full-time Compulsory Education(2011 Edition)" put forward geometric intuition,the cultivation of students' geometric intuition ability has been paid more and more attention by experts,scholars and these first-line teachers.Using geometry intuition to solve problems has won the approval of teachers and students.This paper attempts to probe into the educational value and teaching design method for the cultivation of pupils' geometric intuition ability.I try to use geometric intuition to design some teaching contents of 4-6 grades in primary school,in order to preliminary test the validity of the teaching design method of cultivating pupils' geometric intuition ability.In this paper,the related concepts of geometric intuitive ability and the educational value and teaching design methods of cultivating pupils' geometric intuitive ability are studied by means of literature research,case analysis and investigation.The concrete teaching case is designed and reflected preliminary according to the corresponding value and the teaching design method.The main body of the article is divided into three parts:The first part,aimed to clear the definition of relevant concepts and the educational value of the cultivation of geometric intuitive ability.Through literature analysis,reference scholars from many aspects of geometric intuitive ability research results,based on the curriculum standards and their interpretation as the basis,define the concepts of geometric intuition ability.And I study the educational value of the cultivation of geometric intuition ability from the point of view of mathematics,mathematical thinking and mathematical language.The second part,combined with the case,this paper is to explore the methods of teaching design based on the cultivation of geometric intuitive ability.Combined withthe curriculum standard and typical teaching fragments,this paper analyses and then summarizes methods of cultivating students' ability of geometric intuition from these typical classes.Therefore put forward three methods of teaching design to cultivate pupils' ability of geometric intuition.The first is to guide students to "count the number from the map" and establish a number-type relationship;The second is to guide students to "analyze drawing pictures" and grasp the nature of mathematics;The third is to guide students to "see the number of figures" to obtain mathematical information.The third part,design the teaching case to cultivate students' geometrical intuition ability.Closely linked to the teaching value of the educational value and teaching method of the teaching of geometric intuition ability,we took the teaching version of “Multiplying Distribution Law”,“Cognitive Parallelogram”,and “Average Teaching” as examples.Taking the 4th grade students and 4th to 6th grade teachers of the Chongqing University City People's Primary School as the object,the teachers were interviewed,the students were given a questionnaire,combined with the suggestions of the teachers and the results of the student questionnaires to reflect on the design cases.
