Calculating capability is one of the ten core concepts of Mathematics.The training of calculating capability helps students to understand the computational reasoning and seek a reasonable and concise way to solve the problem.And the calculation teaching is the main way to train the students' calculating ability.The course content of mathematics includes four parts:number and algebra,graphical and geometry,statistics and probability,synthesis and practice.The content of the calculation runs through these four parts.Thus,calculation teaching is very important in mathematics teaching.The second period of primary school is a transitional stage of learning.The calculation teaching of the second period of primary school is to let the students study more deeply on the basis of the existing knowledge and experience.It can enhance the students' calculation knowledge,cultivate the students' ability of calculation,explore ability and good calculation habits so as to pave the way for future study.However,there is less study on the second period of primary school at present.In the investigation and study,it is found that there are still some problems in the calculation teaching of the second period of primary school.This study investigates and studies the various links of the calculation course of the second period of primary school by literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and observation.Through investigation and research,we found that every aspect of calculation teaching has problems,such as the situation has little effect,the algorithm does not probe deeply,the explanation of algorithm is not in place and the practice session is inefficient.The main reasons for the analysis of the problems existing in each link are the situation is not in accordance with the characteristics of studying phase,the inadequate guidance of the learning method,the key point of calculation is not highlighted and the poor practice design.Based on the problem and reason analysis,I design some countermeasures as follows:set up the situation and reveal the meaning of calculation;pay attention to explore and experience calculation generation;strengthen the algorithm to break through the key of calculation;standardize practice to improve the calculation ability.
