In the current chemistry teaching in China,students can understand and consolidate what they have learned through practice and exercises.So the importance of exercises cannot be ignored.However,some students are afraid of making mistakes in their exercises and cannot face the mistakes correctly.But it should be clear that mistakes in homework and examination papers can reveal students’ cognitive errors and thought deviation in the process of chemistry learning,so the errors and mistakes are a valuable teaching resource.This thesis supposes that one of the effective ways to handle the mistakes is to help students build and use chemistry error portfolio,correcting their mistakes and making errors a treasure in chemistry learning,and thus improve teaching efficiency.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the processing of the chemistry error portfolio.Through the literature review,the relevant core concepts were sorted out,and the results of relevant researches at home and abroad were sorted out in this paper.On the basis of existing research and the problems that exist in chemistry teaching in the local school,this paper applies trial-and-error learning theory,cognitive learning theory,constructivism theory,metacognition theory,and meaningful learning theory as the guidance,and practices the establishment and using of the error portfolio in chemistry teaching practice in Minle XX Senior High School in Gansu province,in which two classes,a total of 110 students are the research object.Based on previous research in chemical error portfolio,this paper uses the questionnaire to understand the reasons why students make repeated mistakes,then puts forward the countermeasures,the principle of the establishment of the chemistry error portfolio,and then summarizes the way to establish the chemistry error portfolio.In addition,the paper states the functions and concrete strategies of the error portfolio from the perspective of teachers and students,and with three tests and students’ interview after the application of error portfolio,the effect of chemistry error portfolio on chemistry teaching is analyzed.The result shows that the application of chemistry error portfolio can first enable students to positively treat their own mistakes and problems in their chemistry learning,and realize the importance of dealing with mistakes.Secondly,it develops students’reflective consciousness and strengthens their ability to solve problems.Finally,the students’ chemistry scores are improved.Meanwhile,it also can improve the chemistry teaching efficiency of teachers.This study is an attempt to establish and apply chemistry error portfolio in high school chemistry teaching,which can be used as a reference in optimizing chemistry teaching methods and improving teaching efficiency.However,it still has limitations and needs further improvement.
