In the teaching process,teachers pay more and more attention to the subject position of the students.Satisfying the students' learning needs is an important part of the teaching process.Understanding the students' learning difficulties and designing the teaching content based on the students' perspective are important ways to help students learn.At the present stage,many scholars at home and abroad are studying the causes and strategies of students' learning difficulties.However,there are few studies on the difficulties and causes of junior high school students' knowledge of mechanics.This study is based on the teaching of physical mechanics in junior middle school.Questionnaires and interviews were used to investigate the students' difficulties and causes.SPSS 24.0 was used to statistically analyze the survey data,draw conclusions,and propose relevant teaching suggestions.Based on the theory of constructivism,the theory of recent development zones and the theory of cognitive development,this study conducted a questionnaire survey on the knowledge points of mechanics in the eighth grade of the People's Education Press.The development of this questionnaire was based on the Zongyuan Yu Master's thesis "High School Physics The causes of teaching difficulties and the study of breakthrough strategies" were revised on the basis of the curriculum standards and examination instructions for the examinations in Hebei Province.Students' questionnaires and interview outlines for teachers were designed.Through investigation and analysis of a middle school teacher and student in Xingtai city,the knowledge points that have learning difficulties in the course of student's mechanics learning are mechanical efficiency calculation,buoyancy,liquid pressure,leverage balance conditions,assembly of pulley block.Students' learning difficulties are mainly as follows:(1)Students have difficulties in understanding physical concepts and concept extensions;(2)There are difficulties in the flexible application of physical formulas;(3)There is difficulty in the analysis of forces on objects;(4)There are problems in the flexible application of physical knowledge.Then analyze the causes of student's mechanical learning difficulties from the two factors of the studentsthemselves and the teachers: the students' learning methods are incorrect,subjective prejudices in the students' minds,the students' physical metacognitive levels are low,and the teachers are in the teaching process.The language description is not standardized,the teacher's own physical knowledge is not solid enough,and the classroom atmosphere is not enough to motivate students' interest in learning.Combining the reasons of learning difficulties of students' mechanics,we propose teaching suggestions from the aspects of teachers' teaching activities:(1)Actively help students find suitable learning methods for students;(2)Pay attention to students' former concepts,pay attention to the combination of theory and practice;(3)Analogues cause students' cognition conflicts.Improve the level of students' metacognition;(4)Standardize the use of teaching language;(5)Strive to improve the self-cultivation of teachers;(6)Optimize teaching methods to improve student interest in learning.The teaching suggestions proposed by the author are not perfect,and they are expected to continue to explore in the actual teaching work in the future,and to propose more effective teaching suggestions to solve junior high school students' learning difficulties in mechanics.
