Under the background of curriculum reform guided by core literacy,how to improve students' chemistry literacy in chemistry teaching has become an important issue.The concept of chemistry is the core content of the middle school chemistry curriculum.Conceptual learning plays an important role in the understanding of students' disciplines and the formation of core qualities.However,in the actual concept teaching,teachers are found that they do not pay attention to students' understanding of the concept,but also pay too much attention to the results of the learning.They often use the sea tactics to practice,and they are limited by the students' existing experience and cognitive level.So students' can not understand the abstract chemical concept.The survey shows that this phenomenon has not improved with the rise of grades.The understanding level of high school students has basically stayed at the superficial level.Therefore,the concept teaching needs to change the traditional teaching methods.The model serves as an intermediary between the theory and the phenomenon.Through modeling,it can establish a good relationship between the two.Therefore,chemical concept teaching based on model method has certain research significance.Based on the investigation and research literature,this study gives a specific model-based chemistry concept teaching strategy.Taking the amount of substance and ion reaction as example,the teaching design and implementation are carried out.Four classes with equivalent levels were selected,of which two classes were empirical comparative studies for the control class.And the tests and questionnaires were used to investigate students' achievements,the understanding of concept and interest in learning.Through the analysis of the data,it is found that the experimental class using the model method in the teaching of chemistry concepts is significantly better than the control class,and the core cognitive quality of the model is also significantly improved.This shows that the use of model methods in high school chemistry teaching is helpful.Students construct the concept of chemistry to enhance the model's cognitive core quality.
